Jessie is a director, writer, editor, and visual artist based in Brooklyn, New York. She crafts quietly defiant narratives that amplify queer life, resistance, and joy across narrative and documentary film, commercials, music video, and fine art. Her coming-of-age film BABY won the Grand Jury Award at Outfest, premiered as a Vimeo Staff Pick, and toured festivals globally, while The Greggs won the Spirit Award at Slamdance. She’s produced projects for major brands like adidas, Twitch, and Peloton, and has exhibited work in venues like MoMA, The Brooklyn Museum, Rooftop Films, Fotografiska NY, ICA at VCU, MFA Boston, Leslie Lohman Museum, and more. Rooted in community media, she passionately led youth filmmaking programs in NYC public schools and arts organizations for over a decade. Jessie holds a BFA in Film & Television Production from New York University.
